Share files, versions and resources
Keep the asset, its purpose and its audience clear. The workspace library and an individual client account can have different sharing scopes.
Upload to the correct place
Select the intended account or library folder before uploading. Give the file a useful name and description, and check the purpose such as upload, contract, deliverable or resource. Wait for the upload to finish and open the saved file record to verify it.
Set visibility
Use the access options offered for the file or folder: shared to the applicable audience, team-only or selected accounts/people. Choose members from the actual workspace access picker. Do not assume a folder name makes its contents private, or that a copied external URL inherits portal permissions.
Understand file behavior
The documented upload route accepts attachments up to 50 MiB; other entry points or connected storage can impose different limits. Office documents remain original downloads. Unsupported or active content can be delivered as downloads rather than embedded previews. For a website or media embed that is blocked, use the offered direct link without disabling browser protections.
Publish a new version
Add a new version to the intended file when revising a deliverable. Review decisions and comments stay with the version they belong to; a new version begins a fresh review. Preserve earlier versions and confirm the current file after uploading. See feedback and approvals.
